Refund Policy
Fair, simple rules: if we're late it's free, if we miss the brief we fix it, and cancellations are prorated honestly.
1. On-time guarantee
If we miss the delivery time confirmed in your quote for reasons within our control, the order is free of charge: a full refund is issued automatically, and you keep the delivered work. Delays caused by missing materials, late payment, or changes to the brief after acceptance are excluded, but we will always tell you immediately if a deadline is at risk.
2. Cancellation before work begins
- Cancel any time before an editor has started work on your order for a full refund.
- Coaching sessions and support packs: cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before a booked session.
3. Cancellation after work has begun
If you cancel after an editor has started, we refund the portion of the fee for work not yet completed, calculated pro rata, minus a £15 administration charge. We will always confirm the refund amount with you before processing it.
4. Quality concerns
- Every order includes one free revision round within 7 days of delivery. If something in the original brief was missed or falls below a reasonable professional standard, we put it right at no cost.
- If a revision still does not address a genuine failure against the agreed brief, you may request a partial or full refund. We assess such requests against the original brief and the delivered work, and we respond within 2 working days.
- Refunds are not available simply because an academic outcome (a grade) was not as hoped; assessment decisions rest with your institution, and no honest service can guarantee them.
5. Orders we decline or cancel
If we refuse or cancel an order because it would breach our Academic Integrity Policy (for example, a request to write work for submission), any payment for work not yet delivered is refunded in full.
6. How to request a refund
Contact us via the contact page or WhatsApp with your order reference and a short description of the issue. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 working days (timing after that depends on your bank).
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Because our services are bespoke and begin at your request, the 14-day cooling-off cancellation right is lost once you expressly ask us to begin work within that period, but Sections 1 to 5 above are designed to be at least as fair.
